Jana Kramer, an actor and singer-songwriter who is a specialist in country music and songwriting, gained fame in the world of television when she was Alex during the final three seasons on One Tree Hill. The show featured her debut release as a country artist and helped propel her debut album on the Billboard 200 to the Top 20. Thirty One, her follow-up album released in 2015, made it to into the Top Ten. The singer ended the decade with appearances in Dancing with the Stars and in several TV movies alongside a series of non-album singles. In 2021, the album The Doubting Voices made its debut. Jana Rae Kramer began acting in 2002 when she was a young teenager. She was born in Rochester Hills Michigan Jana Rae Kramer has a background in the country genre. She appeared in guest spots in All My Children, CSI: NY and Friday Night Lights during the 2nd season of the show 2007-2008. Kramer was on 90210 from 2008 to 2009 as Portia and Brooke Manning before joining One Tree Hill on the CW in 2009. In 2009, she played the role of Alex Dupre. Her appearance on the show until the end of 2012 when the series was cancelled. Jana Kramer Kramer's run on One Tree Hill saw her sign a record contract with Elektra Records. In 2011 she released her modern love song from the country genre I Won't Let Go. The song was later featured on Jana Kramer, her debut album released in 2012. It climbed to number 5 among Billboard Top Country Albums. Kramer continued to appear in films like Heart of the Country 2013 or Country Crush 2016 which would be appealing to her fanbase. Kramer released her sophomore album of her own, Thirty One together with Warner Music Nashville, in October of this year. Alongside the Top Five country hit I Got the Boy as well as a duet with Steven Tyler of Aerosmith it was even more successful, achieving number three on country's album chart as well as number ten in the Billboard 200. Her two-month appearance on the Dancing with the Stars 23rd season ended in her placing 4th. The same year she was also a part of an adult contemporary hit featuring Feels Like Christmas with Straight No Chaser.
